Definition

Multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) is a group of disorders that affects the endocrine system, which is the body's network of hormone-producing glands. MEN usually involves tumors in at least two of these glands. Tumors can also develop in other parts of the body. MEN tumors can be benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous).
