Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells and bone marrow, the inner part of bones where new blood cells are made. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) happens when there are too many immature white blood cells (lymphoblasts). The cancer cells crowd out normal white and red blood cells and platelets, leading to infection, anemia, and bruising.
