What you will be doing (job duties):

  • Manage accounts payable utilizing accounting software and other applicable online programs.
  • Handle accounts payable for entities while maintaining and establishing relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Ensure bills and invoices for payments are accurate and paid timely.
  • Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
  • Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, record entries, and reconciling books of accounts.
  • Code invoices, vouchers, expense reports, with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
  • Investigate and resolve challenges associated with the processing of invoices.
  • Track unentered invoices by reason (not received, not approved, etc.).
  • Assist with monthly status reports, accruals, and monthly closings.
  • Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including the communication of resolution re: discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholder.
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports.
  • Performs other requests as required to support the Finance team.

What we look for in you (job requirements):

  • 2-4 years of work experience as an Account Payable Specialist or General Accountant.
  • Technology skills: MS Office Suite, QuickBooks, 10 key touch, Google Suite, Zoom, and exposure to Monday (project management tool)
  • Power-user of MS Excel: (ability to manipulate large amounts of data).
  • Strong attention to detail and overall organizational skills.
  • Experience with procurement/vendor management.
  • Ability to manage projects as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

 

Jumo Health is currently working remotely. The ability to work hybrid is required for success in this role. This means, the potential of some in-person meetings/events will be required of this position.
