What you will be doing (job duties):

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including but not limited to:

  • Month and end-year closing process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Treasury, budgeting support
  • Update the cash forecasting model and analyze trends
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Online banking wire transfers and ACH, check run's
  • Fixed asset activity and depreciation
  • Prepare comments to the Income Statement, B/S and Cash Flow statements, and line item variance analysis
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Multi-Entity global structure
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements utilizing QuickBooks Online
  • Support proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Support coordinating annual audit, provide account reconciliation, and auditor interaction.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Other analysis and projects as requested

What we look for in you (job requirements):

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Mgr
  • Experience in Financial, Planning, and Analysis a plus and/or a desire to develop FP&A skills
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance, 5-10 year of experience, CPA or MBA a plus
  • Technology skills: MS Office Suite, QuickBooks,10 key touch, Google Suite, Zoom
  • Power-user of MS Excel: (ability to manipulate large amounts of data)
  • Strong attention to detail and overall organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects as requested

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Health/Wellness Industry experience

 

Jumo Health is currently remote first. The ability to work remotely is required for success in this role. Please note, there will be some in person meetings per the request of management, however this won't be more than 10% of the role.
